Welcome to the IDHL Group, one of the UK’s largest full service digital agencies and home to Ingenuity Digital, NetConstruct, WMG and Pinpoint Designs.
IDHL Group is the brainchild of CEO Dennis Engel who came up with the concept of online trade shows in the late 1990s. In 2000, this concept became a reality. Using a team of software developers to create a platform to generate and manage virtual exhibitions, WMG was born featuring stands for advertisers, news hubs and knowledge centres.
Dennis’ insight led the company to transition from online tradeshows in 2003 to a suite of basic online marketing products designed to drive targeted traffic to websites.
In 2012, Ingenuity Digital was formed in London, establishing a digital presence in the City, engaging with lifestyle and luxury brands both in the UK and internationally.
As the Group thrived, the appetite to expand our service offering saw our first acquisition with the addition of web design and development agency NetConstruct in 2013. Established in 1995, NetConstruct allowed us to capitalise on the synergies presented by being a full service digital agency.
2017 has been a hugely significant year. A Management Buyout completed in June has resulted in the majority shareholding now being owned by management and staff within the business, and the addition of leading Magento partner, Pinpoint Designs, further extends IDHL’s capabilities, augmenting services offered by subsidiary NetConstruct.
Our services have become more sophisticated and so have we. The IDHL Group is now one of the fastest growing digital marketing agencies in the UK with an annual turnover of more than £10m and EBIT in excess of £3m. With more than 130 experts, an outstanding reputation, an enviable market-leading position developed over 17 years and further acquisitions planned, we continue to go from strength to strength.
Key Group Personnel

With a background in software and engineering, Dennis conceived the majority of the theories and principles which underpin the company’s intellectual property and proprietary software. He is meticulous in his attention to all aspects of the business and despite huge growth and success continues to be very hands on.
After studying engineering at Sheffield University, Dennis worked for a number of large American companies marketing enterprise software solutions to global organisations before deciding to branch out on his own.
